There are good witches, bad witches and witches with resplendent wardrobes. In photographer Txema Yeste’s Numero China editorial titled “Spellbound”, model Nimue Smit embodies the latter, in being the fiercest of them all with Rick Owens, Rochas and Chanel at her command. Yeste’s potent use of pulsing reds, as well as the way he drenches the compositions with light and shadow, make for an intoxicating fashion fable not easily forgotten.
