With dramatic androgyny, Jean Paul Gaultier presented one very curious collection. His muse? Singer (and more recently minted actor) Pete Doherty in his role as a seductive, decadent dandy in the film “Confessions of a Child of the Century”. The provocative collection is comprised of a lot black which gives way to bursts of metallic golds, flashes of color, glamourous fox fur, and art deco prints and details that play homage to films of the silver screen. Of course the turbans, top hats, and corsets cannot pass without mention… quite a lively couture romp!
